From both modern and ancient historic items to the outright bizarre.

You never know what you are going to pull out of the waterways across the UK.

Below are some of the interesting things that I’ve either pulled out or helped pull out of canals and rivers around the UK & USA

Including A cannon and a Drone, loads of dead electronics along with things criminals did not want to be found ranging from guns, knives and bullets.

Item Information we have found 2 different ones of these and we think they were used for branding wooden crates

Jewelers anvil

Item Description: Jewelers anvil
Item Location: Sheffield

Item Information Age unknown, Ray found this anvil and its on its way to being donated to a local museum

18th Century Cannon

Item Information Ray latched on to this cannon and it took an hour and a half with 4 people, 2 magnets, ropes and a winch to get it out of the water, we were with Lee Cutts and Gavin Brett, it was a fight an a half but we won the battle

Long service police medal

Item Information This police medal has been well documented with Ryan Davenport and myself appearing in many newspapers, radio and even crimewatch, we found the owner and returned it

Item Information I have quite a collection of these of these, used by the canal boaters to push away from the side or to move weeds out of the way

Item Information This was used to move the heavy 3 link wagon coupling chain

Item Information This very heavy coupling chain was found under a railway bridge and was used between carriages as a safety chain

Item Information This can was an early fluid ounces can sent to the us military stationed in the uk

Item Information It still works but we are unable to find the owner

DJI FPV Drone

Item Information Found in a canal lock and even though the drone needed parts in order to work again, the sd card did have footage on it but we were never able to locate the owner

Ray found a completely original and unusual round double sided piece of motoring memorabilia, constructed out of steel and enamel dating around the 1930s

Antique jewelers desk vice

Item Information This vice was found under a bridge and cleaned up really well and I now use it in my shed
