My Christmas Highlight: A Memorable Interview on BBC Radio Northampton’s “12 Daves of Xmas”
I’m thrilled to share a delightful experience from this holiday season—I had the incredible honor of being nominated for an interview on BBC Radio Northampton’s festive segment, “12 Daves of Xmas.” As Dave number 3, I had the opportunity to talk about some of my favorite “Daves” and enjoy a fun-filled, festive interview that truly made my Christmas special.

When asked about my favorite Dave, I couldn’t help but choose the legendary Sir David Attenborough. His work in nature documentaries has inspired millions around the globe, and his dedication to wildlife conservation is truly unparalleled.i have literally grown up with this inspirational man
Film with a Dave: David Bowie in Labyrinth
Next, I got to discuss my favorite film featuring a Dave, and my pick was David Bowie’s iconic performance in “Labyrinth.” The film’s magical storyline and Bowie’s unforgettable character, Jareth the Goblin King,
Guess the Dave Sound Bite: David Beckham
One of the most taxing parts of the interview was the “Guess the Dave” sound bite challenge. I had to identify a famous Dave from an audio clip, it was none other than the football legend David Beckham. It was a fun twist to the segment and added to the festive cheer.
Singing a Carol Live from Long Buckby Library
As if the interview wasn’t exciting enough, I was also invited to sing a Christmas carol live on the radio from Long Buckby Library a week later. It was a fantastic experience, and I felt incredibly festive donning my Sonik Christmas jumper and my blue “What a Difference a Dave Makes” hat.
